Subject: Missouri Town Crier:
Me, Anne Farnsworth, in my 17th Century costume. So, now you know what I look like, come and say hello at the next event... .

This pic was sent to us by Graham Vedmore. He is wearing a Town Criers Box Coat which he uses as a proessional town crier in various promotions. Why not vist his site www.mrcrier.co.uk?

Gareth Davies (the designer of our original site) and Catriona Thompson (the model on this site) who both wear HHC costume for various LARP characters.

These pictures where sent in by Marie and Dave Williams after Anne supplied them with outfits for their Wedding. Read the letter they sent in after their special day.

More wedding photos can be found in the Wedding Gallery.

Dear Anne

We had a magical wedding, as you may see from the attachments. The minstrels played the girls and I into the castle and throughout our time there. The atmosphere was just perfect. A friend adapted some of the recipes from the book that we bought from you. She created various barley and herb breads, honeyed and herb butters, salmon, fig and apricot tartlets, herb and onion tartlets and the centrepiece of Tattershall Castle in gingerbread. We found a wonderful company from where we bought numerous different traditional cheeses and another company, through the internet, from where we purchased mead, ales, apple juices and (true west country) ciders. Around half the guests came in costume - and the many of the others told us that they wished that they had. The weather wasn't brilliant - hence the number of photos taken inside the castle, but it didn't matter.

The most wonderful thing was the reaction of the guests when I walked up the aisle (in addition to the fact that Dave was standing there waiting for me looking absolutely splendid in his outfit). It appeared that everyone gasped in admiration of my beautiful dress. I had so many people telling me later that it was gorgeous and practically everyone telling both of us that it was the best wedding that they had ever attended.

We just want to thank you, Anne, for making our day so special. We know that it took all the different items together to make it what it was but, without your exquisite creations, it would not have been the same.

We will be getting the photographs developed shortly and will scan any for you that we think you could use on your website but, in the meantime, we hope that you might be able to make some use of the attachments, or at least get a feel of our wonderful day.

All our love and thanks
Marie and Dave Williams

Dear Anne,

I've just got the doublet and it's fantastic. Thank you very much and
congratulations on a wonderful job!

All the best,

Subject: jabot

Dear Anne

The jabot arrived safely this morning and I must say, I’m extremely pleased with it. It’s so beautifully made and will, I’m sure, look very impressive with my full Highland dress at the wedding this Saturday.

Yours, with many thanks,

Nat
